La Revolt is a band formed in Buenos Aires, in January 2012. In May 2015, this undoubtedly talented and promising band released their self-titled full-lenght debut album as a digital release at bandcamp as well. They are playing a gorgeous cocktail of heavy prog and jazz fusion. As their heavy riffs [i dont think metal riffs here] are dominant, i suggested La Revolt for PA Heavy Prog section because i think that the band's debut album is an example of modern Heavy Prog as a genre.

Sounds good but unfortunately the production is too demo-y to be considered for addition in my opinion.
Hoping to a better recording. |

While this may apply for a free digital download, does this also apply when the album is released as a commercial, physical entity - i.e. CD made for sale and commercial purposes?

^^ the answer is "yes, it does" - it does not matter if it is a physical copy or digital download
quoting site policy below " 1. Only bands with official releases can be included in the archives (for bands with no official releases see: Signed/Unsigned Policy).
For the purpose of clarity, an official release is defined here as:
1.1 A single long track or several shorter tracks combined under one title, with at least the length of an EP (10-25 minutes); 1.2 Recorded and mixed in a professional
manner, such that it meets commercial sound quality as found on average
CDs released by commercial record companies;

Hmmm, perhaps one should ask the band to sign up to this label then.

It does not really matter label or not, if it is not recorded at professional standards, it should not be admitted to the site - not saying we are infallible
