Definitely a Bowie recording of it. Which one I'm not sure, possibly the one from Stage, but in general...Bowie!

The Bowie version by a country mile, but only for the vocals - no one can sing Bowie like Bowie. Then no one can play Fripp like Fripp. [Never been a fan of Adrian Belew's singing or guitar playing so neither video appealed to me much]

However, special mention must go to the late Mick Ronson's attempt at Frippery here:

^ ps: what I find interesting about the Mick Ronson performance is that he created drone guitar using an Ebow ... something that Fripp has never used professionally (he did own one at one stage - a gift from Chris Stein). In the "Bowie/Belew" video that part is played by Simon House (ex-Hawkwind) on electric violin and (IMO) both those versions lack the harsher edge that Fripp managed to impart by technique alone in the original.
