I'm pleased that the original poster enjoyed my review of Supertramp's Crime of the Century enough to repost it. But I should think that if one is going to lift an entire published piece -- all one thousand words, links and all -- that it would be an act of common courtesy to at least acknowledge its author. For that matter, I'd enjoy knowing who wrote the (also unattributed) PFM review as well.

Mickey ... I was thinking that myself. You really should attribute all those reviews. The writers deserve it and I suppose they would have some legal entitlement as well.

Crime Of The Century, my favorite Supertramp album.
Even though in general I like PFM more than Supertramp, the PFM debut, although very good, is not my favorite by them.

LOL

I had to go with PFM also......I'm not a huge fan of RPI in general but I have always thought that Supertramp was overrated prog lite, and that Crime is simply not that interesting.

Got into PFM through Photos of Ghosts and not Storia but POG was still way too important for me back in the day to go with Crime. Don't get me wrong, Crime is a fabulous album and a great favorite over the years but it is simply not important enough in the overall scheme of things to get the vote ahead of Storia.

Two of these done now and both of them have me forced to vote against albums I really like.

Mickey ..... you are a dastardly cad, no doubt about it.  Tongue

Premiata Forneria Marconi, Storia di un minuto.

Master James of St. George.
Of the fields and the sky.
He used to build castles of stone, steel, and blood.
But lines get broken down.

It's embarrassing for sure, but at this point I just want to see them gone, even if it's close  Confused

PFM, of course - one of my very first prog albums, and still a favourite after 43 years. I like Crime of the Century too, though not as much as I did when I first heard it.
