I've found more than a few people over Youtube who have done some very good covers of prog songs, either it being the opening or the whole song. 

Here are some:

Of course a tutorial, but I still do enjoy that little keyboard bit, mostly because it's drowned out a bit during the song.


Vocals too but dammit he's playing the piano so it counts.
Dire Straits aren't prog but whatever, they're good.

I forget the name of a certain young blind woman.  But, she covers ELP songs (Emerson's piano and Moog synth playing) like she is "channeling Keith Emerson."  She can be found on YouTube (I cannot access YouTube in the PR China), so just click on some of Emerson's signature ELP songs and she will no doubt appear as well.  Even Emerson says she is truly amazing...
