TAAB: 3rd favourite album of all time. Can't even compete with the others.

I've always been a fan of the first five albums. Aqualung is a good go to album for me but my favorite from those early albums is Stand Up.

I voted on Minstrel in the Gallery just to give this album a praise, but its not necessarily my favorite.
List of favourites in chronological order: - Stand Up - Benefit - Aqualung - TAAB - A Passion Play - Minstrel in the Gallery - Songs From the Wood - Heavy Horses - Crest of a Knave - Roots to Branches
|
- From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.

I'am the kind of fan that cant really have a favourite album... I love everything from them. Maybe I'll try to put that ten in some order, but... dont know... it doesnt seem fair with the group I love.
Oh, by the way, the compilation "Living in the Past" is awesome.

It is, and often forgotten. And that original heavy textured cover was a hoot.

I voted WarChild not because it contains their best material but because I think it is their most successfully integrated collection of songs. Though I do hear a long-winded concept album under the surface, instead we got a trim selection of choice heavy prog.

Songs From The Wood is my personal favorite. I love the "folk" trilogy: SFTW, Heavy Horses, Stormwatch. After those, I'd probably go with Minstrel in the Gallery and/or TAAB.
