An open letter to Prog Archives' admins, moderators, operators and owners. I see the thread titled 'are any religions harmless?' has been deleted by the so called 'brain trust' that makes up the PA admins, owners and operators. Without warning, this 'self hallowed' institution, that does absolutely nothing for the betterment of the social good, does their covert disappearing act after I have spent an entire afternoon dealing with the insecurities of a hateful paranoid individual and a coward that blurts insults from the safety of being on the other end of a distant computer terminal. I have put up online with these mental defectives with the aim that a truly sincere person would have an interest in the thread's topic, despite the others antisocial ranting and psychotic fixations. You may have not appreciated the occasionally sincere individual posts that popped from time to time, but I did. In closing, except for a few like Dean, who I hold in the highest respect possible, you are people that I cannot approve of or want to associate with. You are simply cowards. There is simply no other word that describes you. Oh, and Happy Holidays to all the rest.

Steve, I have found you to often be annoying in your postings. I've been haunting this site for nearly 10 years. So register a complaint or two if you like. Myself, I just get over it...

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I never come here to be pleasant Brian. It was not PA's MO when I started and I've remained to this sites code of behavior when many of my friends ran from PA forever. Who was really to blame? The chicken for wanting to cross the road or the one that actually got to get to the other side?

I fully support closing that thread. It had descended into name-calling and grown men acting like small children.....and I'm sorry to inform you Steve, but you were far and away the most abusive member in it.

I have and it reads like a butthurt drama queen.
You make an arse out of yourself and terrorise anyone with an opposing view - or completely misunderstand people's intentions. Then when things go tits up you start blaming PA and it's admins for cleaning up the sh*t you yourself started. Sorry dude, but you're on your own here.

Inclosing, I leave a symbol of American iconography. He doesn't suffer cowards either. And knows when it's time to leave after making his point.

I had been following the thread until very shortly before it was deleted, and I don't recall any name-calling there. I have no idea why it was closed. So I support SteveG on this unless an example of this alleged name-calling is shown to me.

The bs only continues with you Steve - that much is evident. If you don't like how things are done here - or similarly can't discuss with members in a respectful tone, then merely leave.
You resort to name-calling every chance you get - including here. Calling me a coward doesn't really help your agenda.
And I will stand up for how PA handles these things every chance I get. I was on the other side of the curtain too, so I know how hard it is to keep a site like this running. There is a reason why PA is regarded as one of the friendliest sites of it's kind over the internet. A large part of that is down to the admins and the rules they try to enforce the best way they can. Yes they delete overtly abusive posts and threads - something I hope future admins will continue to do.

Well, I've heard no one actually deny that they were cowards, so I'm off to Europe with the Misses for the Holidays. Perhaps Santa will live soon backbone in someone's stocking while I'm gone. Happy Holidays and best wishes to all this coming year. Oh and David, final ever posts should be treated in kind, I have.

In kind refers to 'following what's similar', and the emoticon was for everyone else that I do not consider to be cowards. So, it was not directed at you and your coward cronies. So, I'll be clearer this time. Happy Holidays to all you that were born with a backbone. May the cowards get many bags of coal!  And if there's still confusion from those clutching at straws, here's the last line from my op: "You are simply cowards. There is simply no other word that describes you.
