In my opinion Archive, who are massive in Europe, are arguably the best band of the 21st Century (Pink Floyd possibly being the best of the 20th) and I'd like to document their slow but sure rise here.
Most people in the UK/US aren't familiar with their work but we've all heard Archive on the Garnier Olia hair ad for the last several years:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRa8TFdkxL8

...but surely after the video game trailer below, with 9.5 million views, Archive will finally be as big in the UK/US as they are in Europe?

Forbes.com on the trailer; reviewer points out Archive's brilliance but lack of audience too:

The song was interesting, I might have to check these guys out at a future date.

...but I wouldn't hold my breath for the song being used in a game trailer leading to sudden success in new regions. For one, 8 million views is tiny compared to the population of these countries, for another most probably came for the game trailer and weren't converted to fans just because the song was playing.

With a name like Archive, it has to be good!
"It just has none of the qualities of your work that I find interesting. Abandon [?] it." - Eno

Wow.  Distorted Angels is the only song I ever got into from that band, and it's not even on that 132-song list.

There are several Cyberpunk 2077 videos that have been made with the full Bullets track on it, this one below has 507,717 views already!

Also a lot of Archive You Tube videos have comments like "CYBERPUNK 2077 lead me here"

Not sure about the best band of the 21st Century but I am a fan and enjoy their broody electronic themes.
Here are a couple of recommended sample tracks from various albums

Can't say I've really heard about Archive before and the music doesn't do anything for me, but I'm REALLY looking forward to that game. Made by the people behind the Witcher series, it's almost guaranteed to be good.
With magic, you can turn a frog into a prince.
With science, you can turn a frog into a Ph.D. and you still have the frog you started with.

Witcher was beautiful to look at and great storyline but too damn hard.

Not their greatest album. Maybe even the worst, 'Sell out" is probably the stand out track but it's a pretty disjointed effort in general.... With no female vocal!!!!

Chart positions on the album's release.

Still too demanding for the UK audience!

Best song on the album imo is:

Classic Archive pastoral versus followed by euphoric chorus, just needed a guitar solo at the end, and on first hearing I thought they were finally gonna treat us to one, it certainly felt like it was building to one!

Wow, what a glowing review.

Solid review by King Manuel too. Though he strongly hints how demanding Archive can be.
