Metal Mind Production released "Valley Of Tears", the new album by the British heavy metal legend TANK, on September, 25th. An official album teaser is available at THIS location.

You can now read a very interesting interview with Cliff Evans, Tank’s guitarist on the Bonavox Magazine’s website. He comments the work on “Valley Of Tears” album:

“Our last two albums ‘War Nation’ and ‘War Machine’ featured the amazing vocals of Doogie White which really helped to elevate TANK to a new level and open up a whole new audience that previously would never have been exposed to our music. This was the direction that Mick and me had wanted to go in for a long time but were unable to until we brought in a world class vocalist. Doogie’s voice gave us a more classic rock sound but with our trademark guitar growl it still had the TANK edge.
After Doogie departed to join up with Michael Schenker, we decided to take TANK in a much heavier direction. In came former Dragonforce frontman ‘ZP Theart’. Some people thought this was a strange choice for vocalist but we knew what he was capable of and he was definitely one of the best performers around. He was in our touring line up for a couple of years before we started working on material for ‘Valley of Tears’ so he knew where we were heading and what we were about.
This album is a huge step forward from our previous albums and ZP’s vocals, melodies and lyrics have been a major part of this.
Also, the addition of former ‘Sodom’ drummer Bobby Schottkowski to the line up has given us the power and drive that we’ve been looking for. He’s the backbone of the band now. It’s like he’s always been with us.
Working with Barend Courbois was such a great privilege. He joined us on our first ever Brazilian tour and played on the album just before he headed out on tour with his regular band ‘Blind Guardian’.
There’s some very talented and experienced musicians on this album and it really shows in the final result. If you like metal, this is for you!”

Cliff Evan, Tank’s guitarist comments: “With a classic 'rock n roll' vibe and a chorus that will stick in your memory for ever, 'Make a Little Time' shows that Tank and it's new line up can successfully deliver everything from full on metal to laid back rock anthems that will no doubt establish Tank as one of Britain’s best rock bands.”

British heavy metal legend TANK released today the first video from their most recent and also one of their best-selling studio albums, “Valley of Tears”. “Make a Little Time” was filmed in the desert hills just outside the town of Mojacar in Southern Spain and the production was handled by MGV Productions. You can stream the video in THIS location.

Cliff Evans comments: “We didn’t want to make the usual low budget, derelict warehouse style video that so many bands seem to go for these days so in order to do the song justice we decided to find a more interesting location. We contacted Dale Webb at MGV and he found the ideal backdrop that provided the essential vibe that goes so well with the song. Unusually for this part of Spain the weather was stormy and overcast but that added a great atmosphere to the performance. The video really captures the raw energy but also the laid back side of the band.
We like nothing better than playing our own brand of rock ’n’ roll and drinking beer together!”

Mick Tucker adds:  “We’re so pleased with the amazing response that we’ve had for our ‘Valley of Tears’ album which was released at the end of last year. We wanted to portray the songs visually so we decided to invest in making a couple of top quality videos for our fans to enjoy and share the experience of what we’re doing. We only had one day to film everything we needed so it was hard work but we had plenty of cold Estrella beer close to hand to keep us going.”

A second video filmed for the title track of the album “Valley of Tears” is scheduled for release later this summer.
