Sorry, short notice.

There's a documentary on David Gilmour being shown on BBC2 tonight, 14th Nov 15 at 21:45 UK time.

I'd image it will be avilable on BBC iPlayer later

For all his wealth, his property is little run down. A lick of paint on the window panes wouldn't go amiss

It was sad when he said he didn't miss his mum then furthered that she fussed over him when he was much older and that she should have done it when he was 5.

Coupled with a jealous work foccused dad it explains how he can only show emotion through the guitar.

You don't seem to be aware of how the "Upper Middle Class" like to live. (Also, didn't you notice their entire life is like a long summer day?)

Just watched it now on catch-up.

Thoroughly enjoyable documentary, which shed some emotional light on a man who has spent most of his life as part of a massive band who could walk down the street unrecognised.

I rather liked the contributions by Polly Samson as well.

That's also what I thought, nobody could tell from that documentary that he worth over 100 millions Euros... The place where he write all his music look like a barn in the middle of nowhere. It's not inherently bad tho.

Yeah, I was pretty bent for a day or two after hearing about his relationship with his parents, especially his mother. It was heartbreaking to hear that he didn't miss her.
