Solarference (UK) for Prog Folk

Solarference are Nick Janaway and Sarah Owen from Exeter, UK, both vocals and electronics, Nick also on guitar. I think I saw them for the first time in 2008 or so, they must be around since 2007 or 2008. Their thing is a combination of folk melodies and quite experimental and witty electronics, which produces something very fresh and quite unique. Truly progressive innovative music that may appeal to the prog folk fan (although some more traditionally oriented folk fans seem to be bewildered by this stuff) as well as to those looking for new ideas, maybe even in rather avantgardistic corners.

They have two albums and an EP on sale on bandcamp.
