Hi everyone,

There's lots going on in District 97 world right now. Rob Clearfield (keys) and Patrick Mulcahy (bass) have both left the band, and been replaced by Andrew Lawrence and Tim Seisser, respectively. The new lineup has decided to forge ahead boldly, and we are in the midst of booking a World Tour for 2016, and currently have a Kickstarter campaign going to help fund that at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1801575573/district-97s-in-vaults-2016-world-tour. It's nearly half-way funded after a week, so we're really honored by the support we're getting! You can see tour dates and the first footage of the new lineup at that link as well.

We also have some really cool rewards for those who back the campaign, including a LIMITED EDITION DOUBLE LIVE CD which is limited to 150 copies and going quickly. Lastly, a fun thing we're doing is a 'Black Friday Bonus," where we're giving a download of a previously unreleased cover of "Walking On Sunshine" to anyone who pledges $50 or more by the end of Black Friday, November 27th. You can hear a small snippet at https://district97.bandcamp.com/track/walking-on-sunshine-kickstarter-bonus-song-teaser. We recorded that several years ago with the idea it might get licensed for a commercial. That didn't happen, but listening back to it now it's pretty interesting.

In other news regarding the campaign, we are close to 60% of our goal, so thanks so much to everyone who's contributed thus far! We look forward to partnering with more of our amazing fans to bring this venture to fruition. It will begin a new era for D97 and with any luck set the new lineup on a path of making great, new music together for many years to come. We hope to have some PA'ers join us for this exciting ride!

Hey, I just wanna let anyone interested know that there's still a way to support the tour and get some of these exclusive perks. After the campaign, we received several requests from people who had missed the deadline but still wanted to support the tour and receive some of the perks. Then, we were contacted by Indiegogo, another crowdfunding site, who took notice of the campaign's success and requested to host some of the remaining perks on a limited-time basis. Taking all this in totality, we decided to take up Indiegogo's offer so that anyone who would still like to be involved has the chance.
