As a kid I watched Popeye with Tom Hatten almost daily.
I always had a pencil and paper so I could copy the squiggle and turn it into a drawing.
These were the original black and white Popeye cartoons and not the cheaper looking ones that came out later.

Stan Lee is quite a character. I've seen his cameos in most of the Marvel movies and have seen him in at least two episodes of the Big Bang Theory.
