The 1974 Tamba Trio's album has a cool progressive/fusion feeling I like.

Yes I do. Love that album but I prefer the Quarteto Novo's album.

I have the three albums of Bad Trip Simulator, the "Putrefaction Trilogy". Astonishing and funny sound.

And they know that, they made a parody of themselves in the concerts, wearing large monk's robes. LOL

Som Imaginário has played with Milton Nascimento in two of his albums, and they are both great. Still in Zé Rodrix' times, with a more psychdelic aproach.

Of course not! In all meanings, the brazilian Hendrix is Lanny Gordin!

He was the guitarrist from the main albums of the Tropicália Movement and some of Jazz. He played in the album I posted above, Brazilian Octopus, the three first solo albums of Gal Costa, two of Caetano Veloso and two of Gilberto Gil. He was the main name of the psychdelic/acid/tropicalia electric guitar untill he have a crisis of schzofrenia and were putted in a mental hospital in early seventies.

Recently he worked with a band (that sadly were rejected in PA), Kaoll, where he show he is still in great shape.

Here you have a compilation of his guitar solos; and here there is a video of him playing with Gilberto Gil.
