GONG

Not the easiest choice considering the competition, but yeah, them.

Hatfield......imho the most interesting ,  though Nat Health and Egg are close for me. Gong never really impressed me as much though I do have their albums and play them from time to time.

Very very hard choice - and with the exception of Gong, none of these bands have particularly extensive discographies.  The recurring presence of Dave Stewart in three of them makes it even harder to choose (thankfully he didn't join Gong at any stage despite being a mate of Hillage...)

Gong for me...
He neither drank, smoked, nor rode a bicycle. Living frugally, saving his money, he died early, surrounded by greedy relatives. It was a great lesson to me -- John Barrymore

Hatfield for me, with Egg as a second choice. Not a fan of Gong.

Much as I love Gong.. got to give it to HatN for being what I see Canterbury is musically..not by degrees of affiliation. Gong was a damn French band damnit LOL

I Love em all but National Health is the one today. Cough, cough!
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.
