LOL really...

game set and match...

no comparison. One is one of the greatest of all rock albums, the other is merely a very good album.

I'm not kidding, but if these polls are so bad or pointless, I'll just stop then. Ouch

Don't be thin skinned man. Raff doesn't have a bad bone in her voluptuous body. Unlike me of course.  Just having fun with some mock outrage.  LOLCool

Well, not though choice, but perhaps slightly painful for the people who already realized that they weren't able to hear the beauty of truly magical atmosphere at Byron's Uriah Heep music back in the day; they just didn't heard that atmophere back then, or  - they were thinking that the magical atmosphere of early UH is sh*t LOL
And, of course, it would be far too painful if now some people must admit to themselves the truth that they weren't able as the young persons to feel that magical beauty and extravagance exactly in what they were perhaps considered, decades ago, as sh*t LOL

Machine Head. Although both albums had a special place in my prepubescent descent into eventual rock madness.

Is this a tag team affair with those two above,,,,,?
Wink

If one is comparing overall album quality song by song then Machine Head,  but Demons is proggier and has a better cover...on that level more entertaining.
No vote yet.....

Yeah, I had difficulty choosing. As Wu can probably attest, these were two huge albums in '72, and if you loved one, you more than likely loved the other. "Easy Living" and "Smoke on the Water" were played on AM radio stations, and it was a great time to be 12 years old listening to rock albums.

Two huge albums indeed.....and even better if you were 21 and could drink and 'smoke' while enjoying them.

Highway Star, Smoke on the Water and Space Trucking are brilliant, for sure.

But the trouble is, the whole of Demons and Wizards is.

This one is tough. Although DP's Machine Head is brilliant, Demons and Wizards has a special place in my heart (it was the first real UH LP I put my own hands on). More to it DaW is fabulous record (maybe UH best). So in the end Heep wins.
