No Little Feat? No ZZ Top? No Drive By Truckers? Ozark Mountain Daredevils? Blackfoot?
Of this list, Allman Brothers

I would've put one .38 Special and one Blackfoot album in the poll
This said, B&S and SH (respectively from ABB and LS) are not their best, IMHO
I'd have chose from each Eat a Peach and Pronounced

From this lot, Allman Brothers but if you'd picked Skynyrd's Street Survivors...

I actually know none of these albums so I am voting for the last choice just because it cracked me up.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I think I have Deja Vu.....(and not the CSN&Y album...)....first Allman Bros or the live one at Fillmore.

The Eagles don't fall in the "Southern Rock" category?
Of the ones in the least it's between Allman and Lynyrd, but I went for the latter because of the lack of votes.
I shook my head and smiled a whisper knowing all about the place

Stylistically the Eagles could definitely be considered a southern rock band but I would never classify them as one since they weren't really part of the same scene as the other southern rock bands, being from California and all.

country rock...which sprang from California and the loins of the Byrds. Big difference between the two though there was some cross over like the CDB.
