speaking of films.. as someone who gave up on Hollywood many years ago and stopped following what is hip and current...  if I NEVER EVER hear that Bill Pullman speech from Independence Day again I can die a happy man.

yet another 'blockbuster' I'll be skipping.  THe nice thing about not keeping up is when on the very rare occasion I go to see a movie are the previews.  Judging by the previews they ran out prior to Force Awakens it looks the summer of 2016 is full of explosions and aliens.  Seems all Hollywood is good for anymore.

edit.. and redoing comic book characters on the big screen. LOL

Big Hero 6 is good. Not great, but good. The other three are forgettable.

Hey another ID4 hater.  God bless.  It was just a remake of War of the Worlds anyway.

LOVE `Tangled'! So badly want a sequel for the horse alone!

Also, the scene where the male and female leads voices come together when they're into the boat with all the lanterns flying around them - it brings this man crumbling down like a little girl!

For Christ's sake, I'm a thirty year old man, semi-muscular (emphasize on semi) who is currently listening to extreme death metal and Tangled is my favourite movie of all time. I feel embarrassed to know every lyric to every song in that movie.

My dad went to high school with the woman who played the evil stepmother.

First time I watched Wreck-it Ralph, I liked it too, but every time I put it on after that I couldn't sit through it. I feel that way about a lot of blockbusters. Many of them are blockbusters because they're made to offer a heightened first watch experience in theaters anyway.
