The Utopia is a quintet of Roma to their first job . The rilsultato fusion of various genres and musical influences , from metal to progressive , to the fusion, is the debut Ice and knives .
Prerogative of the band is to highlight the melodic aspect of each of the tracks on the disc , always seeking the most complete musicality in both instrumental parts in those sung , not afraid to experiment with new sounds and styles .

Yeah, 'Ice and Knives' was the band's first album.

According to the brief bio accompanying this video for track two of the new album 'Mood Changes'

Their music is the mixture of various genres and musical influences such as progressive rock, metal and fusion.
With their first album "Ice and Knives", which involved the cooperation of Marco Thumb (PFM, James LaBrie), they won acclaim in Italy and abroad, distinguishing sharply in the prog metal scene thanks to the strong influence of fusion and melodic songs.
The guitarist Lorenzo Venza is also active in education as a teacher of guitar in several music schools.
After some time off, also due to the input of new drummer David Cannata, the band returned with their second album "Mood Changes" released on 11th January 2016.

And here are brief snippets of all the tracks on it:

The title track from their first album:

And more tracks from the first album can be heard at
