How is it? I really liked their debut and wrote their biography here.

^  This is my first listen but it's good so far. The vocals blend in with the music nicely and there is some very spacey slide guitar. The overall sound is subtle without being too slow.

"Waiting" by Porcupine Tree. Gotta say, I think Signify has become my favorite PT album... it just has such a unique atmosphere that I don't think their other albums ever matched. An interesting balance of being both haunting and bleak, as well as quite ethereal
Take me down, to the underground
Won't you take me down, to the underground
Why oh why, there is no light
And if I can't sleep, can you hold my life

^^ Great, I'll have to give it a listen. I recall their debut has a nice dreamy mood. Smile

It was one of the first PT albums I listened to when I was a teenager and just getting into the band (Deadwing was my first by them, when I was just 11 or 12), and I didn't fully get into it back then. I'm definitely glad I revisited some of the band's earlier work before the prog metal era, as it's become some of my favorite stuff nowadays (particularly Signify, Stupid Dream, and Lightbulb Sun). Smile

I only started listening to them three years ago, right from the awesome debut Thumbs Up I'm not much into the Metal phase like the Psychedelic one. Up The Downstair and The Sky Moves Sideways are my current favourites.

There was some kind of hassle over who owned the name New Trolls.
