Releases information

CD and Digital album Self-released/independent

Svetamuzika band founded by pianist and composer Svetlana Marinchenko. The group Svetamuzika was born in St. Petersburg, approximately in 2010-2011 or earlier.

Having discovered an interest in music very late, she managed to confidently step into the professional scene. Considerable role in this played the music of John Coltrane, and the album "A Love Supreme," which impressed her deeply. Svetlana, one of the most interesting and talented students, an outstanding pianist and composer Andrey Kondakov, in some ways followed the footsteps of his master, devoting himself mainly original music, experiments and searching for their own sound.

Svetamuzika can be considered a group-oriented jazz-rock and fusion. It combines the personality of some of the most outstanding Russian musicians of the jazz and fusion scene: Petr Ivshin, Anton Davidyants, Pavel Chekmakovsky, Dmitry Tsepilov, Anton Gorbunov and others. The music material itself consisting almost entirely of compositions written by Svetlana, original, colorful, not alien as a truly soulful melodies and some elements of hard rock.

I want to thank the JRF Team and separately George (historian9) for adding to the database page for PA group Svetamuzika! Thank you very much!

And, using cases, I invite anyone who is interested, get acquainted with the work of Svetlana and her wonderful group. You can listen to their debut album on the website bandcamp and download it for free in any format. And, if you have the time and desire, please share your impressions by leaving a review on the album page.

All the best!

Nikolaj
