I'am going with Gentle Giant BUT Hamburger Concerto has a special place in my heart and lately I've been coming to listen Robert Wyatt and understanding his sound.

I pick "King Crimson - RED" BUT this is not mean that I don't like other albums in this list or RED is better than some of them! IMO The Lamb , Mirage and Relayer are "Masterpiece" with no doubt , and after them Focus and Hammill and PFM albums are "Great".
RED have more stuff that fit for my ears and I vote to it.

It's between The Lamb and L'Isola di Niente *flips coin* and PFM takes it:-)

None of those: Queen II.

From those I guess its "The Lamb". I'd say "Relayer" if side 2 was a bit superior, but it ain't THAT great. Side 1 is better than anything else on the poll. Mirage, Red and Crime are amazing as well.
I shook my head and smiled a whisper knowing all about the place

Extremely hard, but I go for Red, an album which should have launched Crimson as a massive worldwide band until Uncle Bob decided to run away. It is an album cited as an influence by so many influential rock bands outside of prog.

I'm usually in agreement with you on most things, but on this, I'm not. I just cannot stand Red at all.

My top 5 would be

1) Mirage
2) Hamburger Concerto
3) Relayer
4) The Lamb
5) Crime of the Century

Mirage for me, as one of my top prog albums period. Crime of The Century, Relayer and Red are all very good too.
