Things really started to fall apart that year...and Rush started to exploit the vacuum left by the major bands along with the rise of NWOBHM.  One of the last great Canterbury albums was released and later that year Dave Stewart gave up as another National Health tour fell through...

X and Anabelas are the best albums listed here imo. Could never get into Hemispheres and Heavy Ponies. 
In the end I voted for the underdog. X is one of the seminal progressive electronic albums - one that stretches far beyond the genre itself and has since it's release garnered fans from all over the musical map.
