The Shiver for ProtoProg

Many years ago, I listened to this Swiss band known as The Shiver and their album Walpurgis and I really appreciated the combination of psychedelia, blues and of course heavy prog. One of the things that got my attention of this album was the cover, which is the first ever album cover designed by H.R. Giger, yes, the same one who designed ELP's Brain Salad Surgery; this simple fact stands out by itself and makes the album worthy to be part of the PA.

I was surprised today by accidentally finding the album at youtube and was glad to listen to it again. Then, I enter PA and was shocked that THE SHIVER does not appear in the artists.

I attach the link to the album, so you can check the music and judge by yourselves. I have no more information but I am glad to dig a bit here and there to find out about the members and history of this band. Maybe, you should know more than I do.

	A bit surprised they've not belonged here. http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=82926 Their only one album "Walpurgis" has been reissued via Garden Of Delights, a German Kraut label. I guess they might be fit for Krautrock (like Rock Duo Magma or so). Alerted the Team. Thanks!
