Like the Stars the Preds seem to have forgotten that they had a game to play. Should make for a fun western conference final. I find both teams pretty evenly matched.

so prediction times...

0-2 betting against the Rays...  do I risk 0-3? 

no I don't.  I think TB matches up very well with the Pens.. I think the Pens will win.. but if I was to put money on it?  Rays in 7..  I feel this one coming.. I don't think I am the only one who has underestimated the team. If Stamkos is able to return and it sounds like he will.. even if not 100% or in game shape.. should be a huge lift.  I think the edge in a very close series might be Bishop over Murray.. Bishop steals the one game needed that Holtby couldn't to gain the edge in a tight series against a team probably slighter better than either.

in the west.. yawn...

Blues against whichever California team that was...  make it....  6 games.

tough call for the western series....two teams that match up quite well and whose franchises both have a history of blowing it. One of them will finally redeem. Bazck & forth...back & forth...

they played well enough without him..  but you would think they will need to have him to advance. Then again.. the name on the jersey doesn't matter if the sub is only letting 1 shot get past him.  Let's see what happens in game 2 and how long Bishop is thought to stay out. Looks to be a really interesting series.

The backup goaltender for TB is playing fantastically (that botched rebound aside). It must be nice to have that luxury.

Good for the sharks! While I'm more of a blues fan, it's hard to feel bad with this outcome. (Especially since the Blues played pretty sh*t throughout)
 
I'll be pulling for the bolts tomorrow, as I think they will make an easier out for the Sharks.

Well, the Pens finally got over the hump after a few years of falling short of expectations.  Since I am a silly superstitious Sports nut, I won't make a prediction for the Pens for fear of a jinx... Tongue

I do like the way the Sharks are playing right now. That said, I've been on the Pitt bandwagon since day one of this thing and I'm not changing now.

I'll say Pens in 7, but I'll be rooting for the sharks!
