Best 90's year in Prog

The 90's showed a revival of progressive music.

Which is your favorite 90's year in Prog?
Justify your choice by giving a few examples.

Mine is 1999:

Porcupine Tree - Stupid Dream
Dream Theater - Scenes...
Mike Oldfield - Guitars
Ozric Tentacles - Waterfall Cities
Tangerine Dream - Mars Polaris (the only good 90's TD album IMHO)
Muse - Showbiz
Summoning - Stronghold (not strictly prog but quite epic and original ambient black metal)
The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin (more psychedelic than prog)

yeah.. I like many albums... never paid attention to the years they were released I suppose. It wasn't like I was sitting around in 1994 waiting on the next prog release... I discovered this decade of music.. a decade later thanks to sites like this.

difficult choice: it's pretty even throughout the decade, but I'd say that 91 and 93 are weaker... Which makes 92 all the more impressive... My choice
