When I tried to open the 'Off at tangents' thread Several times this evening I was redirected to:

It shows a blank white screen when this happens. I'm using an iPhone at the moment.

Actually when I open any thread right now I have to fight with it to avoid the same redirect. I'm grateful this post got posted. I didn't think it did at first.

Y'know these new "Learn More/Read Now" ads that are appearing under the first post are really bad, and could be causing your redirect problem.

I'm getting this when clicking on certain threads using my phone (Safari on iPhone 5c). It redirects to some bullsh*t "Gamekings" site. And it disables use of the back arrow, so the only thing to do is close the page and start again with a new page to access PA.

It amazes me that these phonejacking b*****ds think this behaviour will cause me to play their idiotic games. I'd rather track them down and skin them alive with a blunt potato peeler.

Hopefully they're temporary but it may be that over time we'll all have to put up with more ads like these; a choice between freedom but no resources, or increasing encroachment by these kind of ads and traps.   You can't have everything.

The situation seems to have been resolved, at least for me. A big thank you to those who responded, another huge thank you to the Admins, and yet another gigantic thank you to Mascodagama for loaning me his blunt potato peeler.
