Topic: Mew - Best Album Posted: May 25 2016 at 18:45 |
I feel Mew started with Frengers, not quite friends but not quite strangers, and onwards, thought the first two got som really awesome songs also.
I feel he band is developing and the new album is a differen beast, not sinken inn yet, but some good tracks.

I give Frengers the nod mainly because the final song is just so damn moving and epic.

And if you can't be with the prog you love, honey, love the prog you're with.

Just chiming because I've mentioned Mew in prog rock forums for about 8 years now. I really couldn't name a favorite album but they're like a luxury that I come back to now and then. They're one band that is high quality and a bit mysterious. Also, I remember seeing a video interview where I think only two members of the band was performing, and you could see they had a deep artistic strength to them.
