My antivirus software (Avast) detected a virus when I opened the Musicians Exchange section of the forum.  I couldn't figure out how to get it to let me copy the text of the warning before the thing disappeared on me (Avast does that).   But it had something to do with a frame.  Not sure if it was embedded in the site itself or one of the ads, but thought I should tell you.

Well, rock musicians are known to carry certain viruses that can be exchanged. So that makes sense.

Has this serious phenomenon happened every time?

Avast sends false positives everyday.

No idea if it was a false positive or what, but it only occurred once.  Made me think it was something embedded in an ad.
