French TV/cultural magazine Telerama seems to really enjoy the band - there are none less than four (4) articles about our beloved whales lovers on their website (all in French):
1) a general article about them:

2) a review of their new album, "Magma":

3) a Top Five of their favourite albums:

4) a video of a live performance:

Mjello me French mate. I took the liberty of moving your thread to the prog part of the forum. These guys are after all included on PA in a prog proper sub.
This way you just might get some posts goingWink General Music Discussions is a jungle few dare enter.

Whale-lovers aside - these guys mean business !!
I've heard and watched so many Gojira things in the last couple of years, these Frenchman have impressed me no end. Watching various interviews with the Duplantier brothers,........ just inspiring.
Unfortunately, I found my (young.....er) self with Floyd and Caravan. Now, I'm really appreciating the Extreme end of Prog (or music in general.......). Love these guys, up there with the best.
Magma is an amazing album, despite the more, allegedly, 'mature' approach. I think they've worked out how to write a focused and 'direct' song. And Magma shows us that they've learnt well. Hats off !! I love jagged and erratic music, but to refine it in such a way without compromising the most important fundamentals of their intent is an amazing achievement. Leading lights, I say.
