Not sure what you mean by "heavy keyboards", but I would recommend Return To Forever - Romantic Warrior

Heavy keyboards/synthesizers I mean bands, where foreground compositions are build on keyboards base, also lot of solos and type of keys, improvisation and good symphonic arrangements . Example - Planet X, Ozric Tentacles.

Alas is a good Argentinian group with lots of keyboard. They released two albums in the 70's, the first, Alas, is more symphonic (think ELP) and the second, Pinta Tu Aldea, is more like jazz fusion. Both can be found on youtube and I'd highly recommend them.
when i was a kid a doller was worth ten dollers - now a doller couldnt even buy you fifty cents

Sorry if some of the suggestions are too obvious/well-known (I can send you more if you wish). If you like old(-ish) prog from the 70's with a lot of Mellotron - check out the Italian scene from that period. It's full of gems.

Hi,

Seventh Wave ... and they toured with 7 keyboard players!
Space Art ... from France

And there are a couple of keyboard things from Germany and France that would fit, but I am thinking that the original request is way too limiting. Seventh Wave is closer to pop music, while Space Art is closer to soundtrack music.

Quartermass is not fusion ... I would think it should be considered a straight ahead rock band, and the keys are designed to setup the rock music. But in many ways, several pieces of those keyboard pieces are way stronger and more interesting than the rock pieces themselves.

I would never consider RTF or WR a keyboard styled band.
Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!

The best heavy keyboards you could ever get.

Now, some proto math-rock

Krautrock with heavy keyboards:

Aardvark used incredibly heavy keyboards:

These are just some I have on top of my head at the moment.
Supersister also used some heavy keyboards sometimes, too.

Categories strain, crack and sometimes break, under their burden - step out of the space provided.

Niacin is a good arse-kicking organ/bass/drums power trio, if you want a smorgasboard of Hammond pyrotechnics. Niacin is vitamin B3, of course

^ It's jazz rock, I should add. But don't let that put you off.

You mentioned Ozric Tentacles as an example. A band strongly inspired by the Ozrics is Quantum Fantay.

Heavy keyboards - well, grand pianos, Hammond organs, Mellotrons and the mighty Moog Modular all are quite heavy - a roadie's nightmare. But the heaviest keyboard instruments are certainly large pipe organs as found in cathedrals, but nobody even thinks of moving them ;) (sorry, couldn't resist the joke)

Thank You Nicky, well, most of them already know, but is nice to listen it again, especially Rick Wakeman and his Masterpiece! Basically I looking for ideas of more - new prog rock/jazz fusion (even prog metal/fusion) with dominated keys and synths. However giants You pass to me are brilliant, big thanx !
