I like both songs much and both are emotional, Epitaph evokes much feelings, but to me Nothing At All is among the best songs ever written, to me Gentle Giants most spessial gem, not becouse of length, but the general feel, its mood. Unlike any GG songs it got a calm and gentle atmosphere, a solemn, and economic use of atmospher displayed in trinsic meassure.

I'm not particularly fond of Gentle Giant, but I have always considered 'Nothing At All' to be one of their greatest pieces. However, 'Epitaph' definitely gets the edge as far as I'm concerned.

Nothing At All still sounds fresh to me. Epitaph sounds as ancient as the rest of that album.

"Nothing At All" wins just by hair. Both songs are fantastic, though. The Gentle Giant piece, though, is outstanding and incredibly creative. That drum solo in the middle is so unique and ahead of its time!

Epitaph is one of the few KC songs I really like, but Nothing at All trumps it.

I enjoy the more powerful rockathons of Octopus personally over their debut material.

Nothing At All for me.
