hi im looking for a nice progarseve instrumental country.
like doyle dykes wabash cannonball, jesus and my old guitar, jerry reed- strutin, things like that...

the problem chet atkins and artist like him have a lot of sh*t "record company" albums.

im looking for the pure good stuff, im open minded to this , but prefer instrumental

Chester & Lester (w/Les Paul). Doesn't get much better than that.

Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed put out a few records together.....their first collaboration, Me & Jerry, has been coupled with an album under Reed's name, Me & Chet, on a single CD.  Probably all you'll ever need from the duo.
You're right when you bemoan the overabundance of Chet records out there, but any with the word "Nashville" on the cover are strongly recommended.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....
