Two absolutly amazing, bonecrushing heavy and adventourus doom, stoner progressive metal units, whos music will cause your bones to crumble, your flesh to grind, and your soul boil.

Ufomammut

I'm finishing that Ufomammut album, it's good but I prefer SBE, especially the first two albums.

This is a good match up Sam and I could have easily voted for both but I ended up going with SBE.

^ What's your favourite from Ufomammut? The same way I'm not much into "Waiting for the Flood", they probably have albums I enjoy more.

^  I'm more familiar with Oro: Opus Primum but I've listened to Ecate a couple of times. They are heavily down tuned and drone (maybe more than Sleep) so I've never listened to two albums in a row.
I find SBE more spacey and easier to listen to. Long Distance Trip may be my favorite.

This. The debut from SBE is better than anything that came after though....and I absolutely detest the vocals

^^ It's probably not for me then. Ermm

^ I commented with Gary the other day, they always seem to release a worse album than the last. I hope they'll revert that on their next album. By the way, do you know the singer's new project Surya Kris Peters? It's a very nice fusion of Electronic, Krautrock and Indo Prog Cool

Sounds pretty interesting...as long as he refrains from singing
