Dedalus is superb.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me

I also am voting for the excellent Dedalus, but I also like Dzyan's Time Machine, Terje Rypdal's What Comes After and Giger Lenz Marron's Beyond very much.

Nektar.....A Tab In The Ocean ....deserves some love.

I've probably played Wishbone Ash-Argus more than any other on that list but I also enjoy Triumvirat, GG, Daedalus, Le Orme, Rooster, ...

A great list of bands and albums. I will go with Gentle Giant, but any of this would do for me.

Thanks everyone for your nice and interesting responses.
Looks like Gentle Giant is in the lead, followed by Wishbone Ash in second.

So much good stuff here. Throwing out Gentle Giant because they're the giant in this group, so I went with Eloy(!) then Solution -- Divergence is a GREAT album, really the only Solution album I love, then Le Orme, then Passport, tben who the hell knows.

Oh yeah, I like Dzyan and Nektar, too. "Tab" is really the only Nektar album that doesn't wind up boring me. And I like the Triumvirat as well. So just forget everything I wrote before. (Never reply to posts when it is the 10th straight day of 90+ degree F and 70% humidity unless you have air conditioning, which I do not. UGH)

Le Orme for me. I love Passport but would've picked other albums of them. 30 years ago it would've been Eloy, back then my favourite band.

Dedalus and Dzyan for me. I still like Papillon, second RPI album I bought.
