UK's first album vs the reincarnated Discipline by KC. Which album do you prefer?

Discipline. Algebraic, new wave lightning in a bottle. Managed to be lightyears ahead of its time, ultimately much more so than UK's itself forward thinking, AOR bending little masterpiece.

I wonder how senior a member I have to be, before I can vote in polls? Hmmm.

Anyhow , I would vote for "Discipline" if I could.

I can dig UK every now and again. Discipline, on the other hand, is one of my least favourite albums ever released.

Once you have 40 posts ("forum groupie"), you're eligible to vote in polls.

UK by almost 2 stars. Yet I prefer its successor even more: it is in my top 10.

UK is excellent.

Discipline is an album I listened to about three times and frankly, if you offered me the choice of listening to it again or facing a firing squad, I'd have to think carefully.

I like both, but have to agree with LearsFool. Discipline was a leap forward. UK was a great restatement of the classic progressive sound.

both are great albums, and UK's debut definitely give me KC vibes, not surprising considering Bruford and Wetton being in both. However, UK's debut is just incredible fusion, and fusion really is my kind of thing. Discipline is fantastic too, and probably the more progressive of the two, but I just love UK's debut enough to give them the edge.

UK by far for me. Love Discipline but the second side of the album is boring to me.

The number of albums overall that could beat Discipline in my view is about... 1. (And not this one.)
