Rumors for a 2017 tour are circulating everywhere...apparently Gilmour is spreading the news. Anybody has more concrete information? This could be huge!

"Pink Floyd The Early Years-1965-1972" huge (15?) disc box planned for November 11th.
Pink Floyd management furious the cover has leaked and will announce details by Friday morning.
Also, a shorter, more affordable version has also appeared and withdrawn from Amazon.

I can see Gilmour and Waters doing interviews together, but I can't see any tours.
Plus we are getting instead a many records box (I think each year has a dedicated disc, so some discs might be shorter? This is guesswork on my part!) of Pink Floyd from 1965 to their "Eclipse" touring years. More than enough compensation for not touring!

I don't think we'll see a 1974-1979 box set, in fact Waters and Gilmour will tour with Nick before this box set gets a sequel!

Meddle belongs with DSOTM era, not the psychedelic early years.

I couldn't see the information for this box-set. Is it rarities, live material, or just the albums? Still, $700 sounds excesive for any of them. There's a good bit of live songs from the era that I believe would be wonderful to have. However, the one thing I really wish could be released (and as far as I understand is totally impossible) is a DVD from the Animals tour.

Thanks for sharing this news.

Waters and Gilmour touring together would be great. But I'm not sure if Waters' voice is going to hold up?

Regarding the early years box set, seven hundred dollars is a ton of money. But I'll probably buy it because I'm a huge fan of all eras of Pink Floyd. Need to see the full track list first though.

I cannot see any info about Gilmour and Waters joining forces. The f-book pages of David Gilmour and Pink Floyd do not mention anything about it. And the page about the box set has gone 404, fortunately.

I think someone, probably US-based, is launching some hoaxes to excite gullible fanladdies.

Well an announcement is now planned at 4PM to crown the joke! I'm waiting for the tracklistings or accepting it was too good to be true.

Normally I'd not be interested in a tour if they're not doing any new material, but in this case, if they're going to focus on early stuff on the tour--say, if at least 50% of it is pre-Dark Side material, I'd go see a nostalgia show.  Of course Nick Mason should be involved, too.  A combo of Chris Stainton and Patrick Leonard would be nice on keys.

Wasn't Gilmour the one that said that he refused to tour for Pink Floyd anymore? Not to mention I don't think Roger's quite recovered from Gilmour putting testicles on his favorite pig float.

I would like some of that. But hell...I don't think there is any artist I would buy a 24 disc (9 CD) box set for $700.
