I still don’t know Oxygene very well, but boy am I familiar with Equinoxe, another album from my youth. I’d possibly like Oxy even more, it certainly seems more famous. Any thoughts on how the two compare?
Well, I couldn't have read it and I wouldn't know about it. This kind of discussion is important in this thread anyway. In my case I rarely review, I find difficult to put my feelings for music into words, so most of my tiny musical opinions are scattered throughout this thread Tongue

I love both pretty much equally although these days I slightly prefer Oxygène, it's more atmospheric and works better as a musical suite than Équinoxe... and there's nothing flashy like Équinoxe V Big smile

I know, I read your review Wink I could say the same thing about Jean-Michel Jarre's Oxygène, although in the last few years I've been choosing Tangerine Dream's Tangram or New Age of Earth from Ashra instead.

I've listened only Ghost in the Machine, and I think that is an album full of contrasts. The three first songs and the three last are great for me, but the middle part is forgettable. Various years after my first time with this album I can't remember any song excepting the opening or the ending.

Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic or Secret Journey are full of delicious mistery and darkness.

I so enjoyed respinning those early Police albums recently. Great fun.

The quality of those Police recordings are absolutely nuts. So so good.
Ghost In The Machine is my favorite.
Zenyatta Mondatta is my pick.

And an awesome pick that is!
Love Man in a suitcase. Song always puts a smile on my face.
I’ve always loved Behind My Camel and Shadows In The Rain, but there’s lots to like here.

I was never a big Police fan back in the 80s but after realizing just how many of their songs I liked, I bought the Message In A Box set. One of my most enjoyable CD purchases ever.

A couple of albums on my way and home to/from work today.

Threshold. — Psychedelicatessen ( one of Threshold’s absolute best! This is a killer listen. FYI. 2001 remaster absolutely blows. Grab an original my friends. )

Dead Can Dance— Toward the Within. (MFSL edition. ) for me this is easily one of the best live albums of the 90’s.
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣
