Really happy to be back as well, mate.

Well, doesn't look like a stale run down of albums you got there, brother. :)
I've been curious to ask. How do you like that Mike Oldfield, Return to Ommadawn??

Thinking about grabbing that one considering how much I loved the first one.
Everyone just needs to go on horseback sometimes.   Haha. :)

Anyhow. Continuing my music integration day for day # 2. :)

Unreal City-- Framentii Noctornii ( the best yet? Oh man I think so! RPI masterpiece. Very special band and very special recording.)
Pink Floyd-- Pulse (both discs) Really digging the Gilmore led live albums. So special in so many regards.
Ministry-- Psalm 69 ( haha people just haven't lived until one has heard Jesus built my Hotrod. Lol
IQ-- Forever Live ( this is such a beautiful live couple of discs. Very well recorded and I love the tribute to Geoff Mann. :)
Rammstein-- Rosenrot
Sepultura-- Chaos AD ( the brilliance of this one. My my. Also, I can't believe they just recently released a remastered edition of this album. Ugh how can you change perfection? So obvious the music industry wants your cash for an inferior product in return. Blood suckers!!
Fields of the Nephilim-- Earth Inferno ( some Andy Jackson's finest A&R exists on this live disc. Don't believe me? Grab your best audio gear and headphones and take a spin with this one. :)
Haken-- Affinity ( god I love the album but I really don't love the recording. Jens Bodgren is so incredibly overated.
He mixes and masters his stuff far too bright and loudly. Doesn't use compression judiciously. :(
Dream Theater-- Train of Thought ( man, can anyone deny how well this album has aged? God it is great! I really hope DT do another album totally in vein of this one. :)
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

Those 2 records are amazing. I've been into similar stuff lately but these guys do it masterfully. Haven't heard Transmission Flux and I was a bit disappointed by Contemporary Movement but Stratosphere more than makes up for it. Outstanding album. 1975 is pretty great as well for a follow-up EP.

Pelican - The Fire in our Throats will Beckon the Thaw
Modry Efekt - Modry Efekt & Radim Hladik
Cocteau Twins - Treasure
Robert Wyatt - Comicopera
Yes - Tales from Topographic Oceans (sides 3 & 4)
Low - I Could Live in Hope
