^ It's a lot of fun. I expected something a lot more pop-oriented but it's quite free of structure and experimental while remaining very much accessible. The amazing percussion and singing/chanting alone are worth checking out. The 4.60 PA rating does not lie.

Lunatic Soul - Fractured

Ooh, plenty to investigate, mate!

Out of Focus – Wake Up - Very tasty dirty sax/flute/Hammond-heavy grooving Krautrock German band with wasted vocals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVsUhgJ-EZM

Hoelderlin – s/t - German Symphonic album - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyY6EquB1kw

Korni Grupa – s/t - Yugoslavian jazzy rock album with tons of jammy soloing, bit of a favourite of mine that I play very often -

Stonefield Tramp – Dreaming Again
Red Hash – Gary Higgins
(Both of these ones are cool psych/acid folk albums, I especially dig the latter)

******

What's that latest Lunatic Soul one like, mate? I kind of snoozed on picking it up.

******

Today's listen:

Cluster – Konzerte 72/77 - Tymon, did you pick up this fairly recent release of two side-long piece archival recordings? Nearly fell over when I saw it in a local music store chain in Melbourne and snapped it up in an instant! My excitement lessened upon listening to it, though. It’s perfectly OK but quite forgettable as well, nothing that instantly makes you want to listen to it over and over, although the second side (or the 1977 piece) is the more interesting of the two and becomes quite brooding and mysterious. Feel free to tell me it’s a precious gem that needs to be appreciated more if you dig it more than I do !

Haven't picked it up, but I've listened to it online (either from their Bandcamp or YouTube). I did enjoy it, but I did not revisit it. And I probably should! But as you said, it's really "nothing that instantly makes you want to listen to it over and over, although the second side (or the 1977 piece) is the more interesting of the two and becomes quite brooding and mysterious." As to side two, I was also quite surprised to find they were still doing the drone thing by 1977. Will listen to it again in the coming days (actually, it's a nice coincidence that you happened to remind me of this one, because I've been on something of an ambient/drone kick recently).

Yesterday:
Can - Delay 1968
Sun Araw - Beach Head

Today:
Cluster - Grosses Wasser
