I think the first track is a bit weak but it gets better afterwards. The rainy weather made me very lazy that afternoon and the music was really cozy. Neo Prog always sounds better in the Winter.

Just a few videogame soundtracks:
Darren Korg - Transistor
Damjan Mravunac - The Talos Principle
Steven Wilson - Last Day of June

The Police - Regatta de Blanc
The Police - Zenyatta Mondatta
The Police - Ghost in the Machine
Yes- Yessongs disc 1

Damn, their first three albums sounds great. Almost as much fun as the The Cars (almost is the key word there.)

Nothing like air-bassing to Chris on Yessongs, on a cold winter day in a dusk-like lit basement.

A nice transition, man!
BTW, Dehumanizer - my favourite BS with DIO, absolutely! Clap

As for me, I'm enjoying the two albums by KOBONG, recently reissued after a long period of inavailability - simply amazing suff! You really need to check them out, guys!! Clap

Good stuff there. This Heat has been getting more plays in my house lately.

Good to be able to have time to return once in a while!

This Heat is really among my favorite bands. Can't even describe what it is exactly that I love so much about their music, but I really enjoy the utter cold and shrill they convey. Always works wonders during winter months!
Categories strain, crack and sometimes break, under their burden - step out of the space provided.

Thanks, Bartek...long time no  see!
Yeah, I was sampling some of the Tony Martin albums and stumbled on Dehumanizer.  I'm not sure if I'd heard that one when it came out.  I wasn't listening to Sab much in the early 90s.

I never heard Galleons of Passion but I love this album, it has so much energy and emotion, despite being very technical... oh, and that warm 70's production Approve
How do you find Nektar's debut? It's been a while since I listened to it.

I need to take yours and Cristi's suggestion with checking out the first 2 albums of Finch since I like the 3rd one quite well.

Nektar's debut I do like better than A Tab in the Ocean for whatever reason, it is a tad raw and has that 70's sound.  Remember the Future has a sentimental place for me as it was what I had back then and played it to death and tend to like it the best of their work.  Although I only have 3 of their albums and should explore the rest of their catalog.

The sky fell at work and had to hit the road for a week or so.  From the past week or so and today (mostly today):

King Crimson - Meltdown (Live in Mexico) disc 1 of 3.
David Bowie - Blackstar (again)
Clutch - Blast Tyrant
Spooky Tooth - The Last Puff
Jefferson Starship - Platinum and Gold Collection
Vanilla Fudge - Rock and Roll
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - Symphonion Dream
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (listened to it while watching The Wizard of Oz muted tonight - not twice through however)

Oddly enough, although I’ve had Blackstar since it came out (wife bought it) I have not yet heard a note of it. Hard to explain why. I’m told it’s really good. I think I may be holding out in the hopes that I’ll finally get into everything else he’s done since 1984, which is about when he dropped off my radar. I’ll get there one way or another.

Woo | When the Past Arrives
Elvis Costello | Spike
Sisters of Mercy | Floodland
Soundgarden | Badmotorfinger
Reanimation | Under the Last Tree on Earth
John Mayall | The Turning Point
