Cluster - Zuckerzeit Excellent album. Not very far from Harmonia, although not as timbrally attractive and rich. In comparison to the latter's debut, this goes in two opposite directions, some of it is a bit poppy, while some is quite experimental. This is a very consistent album nonetheless. I like it very much.

Pink Floyd - The Early Years 1965-1972 (CD 5) What a great compilation box set this is. Loads of material from my favorite Pink Floyd years (1967-1971), very good recording quality, too. Although I would prefer to hear more More-like themes or Ummagumma-esque experimentation, even if of lesser quality, rather than all of the possible live versions of "Set the Controls...," "A Saucerful..." or "Careful With That Axe...," I can't complain - all of these are fascinating listens.

`Triplet' is reliably good, Sam...tons of soloing, lots of colour...I've got a positive review that I'll post of it in the next day or so...although I get a little bored with the second track `Trilogy' which seems like a sixteen minute guitar solo! Haven't watched the DVD footage yet, though, looking forward to that.

Haha, I hope so, too. LOL  Now that it's winter break and I was studying a lot this past semester, I am treating myself with loads of music recently and I love it like that. Smile

Mostly Japanese day:
Yellow Magic Orchestra - Solid State Survivor
P-Model - In a Model Room
P-Model - Landsale
Takehisa Kosugi - Catch-Wave (First listen. One of those albums that genuinely surprise me and make me think about the definition of music.)
Brückner, Betzler and David - Triplet (I think it's really good, Michael. It nicely blends other musical influences into the electronic core (although I never heard Brückner sounding so much like TD, in some parts). "Trilogy" was probably my favourite, it really doesn't have that much guitar. The drums and guitar give a modern KC tone to the Schulzian soundscape.)
