I don't know if this band has been suggested before (and the search option does not work for me right now), but anyway... Third Ion is a Canadian band that has released 2 albums so far. 2015 - 13/8 Bit 2016 - Biolith http://thirdion.com/ definitely progressive metal (if you ask me), check them out, they're quite good.
