Excellent album. Even back in 1971 Le Orme's songs stand out compared to Banco and PFM. They just have cooler melodies

I know melody is subjective but THIS Verita Nascoste is also excellent

All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

Initially, PFM and Le Orme were immediate hits for me; Banco has taken me a lot longer to know, appreciate and like but their stuff may soon over take the other three. There's just so much there--such depth and detail. It's similar to my appreciation and love for pieces of classical music: it often takes time and patience to unravel and reveal the gold that is within the complicated structures.

I find bancos first 2 albums a bit raw in melody and sound. Some of the melodies start well but they seem to take the wrong turn. Io sono is where they got it right
