Train was a little known German fusion band who in 1977 released an album called Coo-Coo Out! What you get here is some great fusion that's somewhere like Passport, Weather Report, a bit of Soft Machine. It's obvious why this hasn't been included in Prog Archives, and that's the obscurity factor. Unlike many fusion albums that seem to stick to the same thing throughout, this group seems to go all over the fusion map, from sax-driven moments that remind one of Passport (but less cheesy sax playing than what Klaus Doldinger often delivers), to parts that remind one of Karl Jenkins-era Soft Machine, and even acoustic parts that aren't too far from what John McLaughlin would do on acoustic guitar. This is the best I can describe them. When it comes for obscure fusion, this is truly one of the better ones I've heard. Here's how they're like:
If you feel Train is Prog Archives worthy, some info, like record label and track listing can be found over at Discogs, as Train (6).

Of course I was referring to the 1970s German fusion group and not the American band who did "Hey Soul Sister". Many reasons this German group is so obscure is it was only released on LP, and rather hard to come by, and had never been reissued.
