Ys from Il Balletto di Bronzo won widely the 1972 poll and joins Area's Arbeit macht frei for the finals.
Vote now for your 1974 favorite italian album, excluding the "Big Three".
Thanks for any feedback!

Not familiar with three albums here, but I can easily vote for Tilt - one of my favorites to ever come out of Italy.
Categories strain, crack and sometimes break, under their burden - step out of the space provided.

Love everything here, though my top 3 would be Arti e Mestieri, Delirium and Biglietto.
It's really very close, I'll go with Delirium today.

The second QVL is wonderful, but Portable Madness is unique. And i Love Delirium III, Il Volo, Alusa Fallax and Tilt. So no vote Confused

There are some great albums here but I've been a long time fan of Sensations' Fix.

From the list Biglietto Per L'Inferno, but the best italian is:

Perigeo - Genealogia.

From the list, Tilt
In general, the greatest '74 non big three album is Libra-Musica e Parole, for sure.

Thanks for suggestions frankbostick and presdoug! I didn't hear Perigeo and Libra yet, so I got homework.
Biglietto and QVL are into my favorites, but my vote is for the beautiful Alusa Fallax one.

"Greatest", "best", bah!

There are a few albums in the list that I don't have, but I voted for Area's Caution Radiation Area, which is a desert island record for me. In my experience, many haven't liked that album due to its experimental "avant prog" qualities, but its my favourite Area album and is one of my all-time favourite albums.

As for the Libra, it's usually listed at sites, including here, as a 1975 release -- nice album. I like Perigeo's Genealogia considerably, lovely Canterbury stylings, and it's quite elegant, but I find it a bit "safe".

Outside of the poll, and indeed PA, I'd mention Ennio Morricone's Il Sorriso del Grande Tentatore.
Just a fanboy passin' through.
