Blameful Isles are a modern Swedish band playing a highly experimental, avant-garde branch of jazz-rock. Their music could be compared to Soft Machine during on their album Fourth, Area at their most experimental, Keith Tippett, sometimes even This Heat, Henry Cow, Nucleus, and Miles Davis from the Bitches Brew-era. They have currently got two LPs out, Then It's Not the End (2014) and Strange, But Not Entirely Unattractive (2016), as well as two EPs, Bound To Ohra (2012) and The Forgotten Continents (2015). Their Discogs discography: https://www.discogs.com/artist/3540264-Blameful-Isles Their Bandcamp page: http://blamefulisles.bandcamp.com/ Aaaand their Facebook profile: https://www.facebook.com/Blameful-Isles-277985145649392/ I will undestand if they are not added, but they are at least worth considering. I personally do think they fit among the earlier mentioned bands. Thanks! Edited by ALotOfBottle - September 07 2016 at 08:47 |
