Twelve more obscure groups to hail from the land of poutine.

Pick which one you dig the most.

Again I know about half of these, I'm guessing the rest are modern bands
I'll give Eternite a vote, which is also a band I offered to include here just a few months ago.

On the contrary, I'm pretty sure that just about all of these are 70's groups.

Solstice's Syncope's sole album merits to be on the same line as Chicago's first three.
EDIT:
Ooopssssie, I f**ked up
I meant to vote for Sybncope (Solstive made two albums, and their second is cruddy)

I only know Syncope (their self-titled album)
Solstice from Canada? How many bands with this name are there? I know the neo-prog Solstice from UK and there's also a pretty good heavy/doom band Solstice also from UK if I remember right.

I love that first Eclipse album.
Only know one or two of the others.

Out of the three I know it's Dionysos hands down. Wonderful band that more old school proggers should know.

I thought I didn't know any but it turns out I have heard Toubabou before. I listened to samples of the others but nothing came close to them.

I've heard (admittedly) most of these, not all, but my favourite would have to go to Agharta. Splendid fusion record.

Special considerations go to Contraction, Eclipse (only the first album, the second makes me vomit), Solstice and Hune. I haven't actually been able to find the whole Hune album, so I'm only really making my judgement off of one track (which was fantastic, but not fantastic enough to vote for).

I'll have to look up Toubabou; they seem like something I'd enjoy.

Absolutely adore that Hune album. Wonder what ever happened to that guy...

Oh, I just meant I couldn't find it on youtube or anywhere to stream. I'm not really a huge fan of buying an album before I've heard the whole thing.

*Edit: Third times a charm... first "and album"... then "analbum".... maybe it'll work this time! LOL

Now these are all unknown to me... A less-known gem from Québec that I love is June Wallack.
