Jheronimus Bosch was five centuries ahead of his day and he can keep par with the best album cover designers that progressive rock has seen Approve.

Byw, let's not forget 2011's masterpiece Blemmebeya by Akt. The cover was derived from Hartmann Schedel's 1493 Nuremberg Chronicle.

Yes, Zorn (one of my heros!) is very involved in his passion for visual arts. A large majority of his work, whether through covers or not, pays tribute to different visual artists (and film makers etc) Big smile

Though I think one of the major problems with album art/packaging is that it becomes so familiar and taken out of context to some point that we've come (in general) to take visual art for granted Disapprove
Classical music isn't dead, it's more alive than it's ever been. It's just not on MTV.
