Psyckadeli is the band that truly believes in collaborations.

Psyckadeli is a modern hard rock band that mixes up their heavy guitar sounds with hypnotic synth parts. With their collaboration together with “hired guns” on vocals and bass for every two songs, there is always something new and fresh about Psyckadeli.

About ten years ago Max Haze and Chris Crash started Psyckadeli after meeting for the first time. After many years back and forth with their band and band members, a new era started for them. The main difference from before is the concept “Psyckadeli Featuring Protocol”. This means that there is no regular singer, or bass player in the band, but a continuous collaboration with musicians for every two songs. These connections create new ideas, new angles and a natural possibility to evolve the sounds.

A mix of rock based guitar, synths creating effects and rhythmic sections, drums playing with acoustic and electronic sounds and being topped with a new voice for every set of two songs, providing an always fresh sound. Influences like Queensryche, Muse, Rammstein, Rush, U2, The Cult, Depeche Mode and Toto can sometimes be recognized into the pattern while new paths are being taken towards their own sound.

Listened to the youtube clips, but I don't hear anything suitable for Prog Archives database inclusion under any of our categories (which is what this Suggest forum is intended for in case you weren't sure). Based on your band name I was expecting more psychedelic flavours in your music, and when I think of hypnotic I commonly think of Kosmische music, but your music is more commercial-oriented than what I tend to go for.

Fantastic videos and energetic hardrock but cannot be fit for our database, as Logan says.

Anyway, thanks for your suggestion.

Thanks anyway guys. I will hang hear and read more about prog bands. I listen to Rush, Yes and many other prog bands over the years. There is a riff in this song that I stole from Yes can you hear it in the song? What short riff is it? It's at 3:49...

Is it from the song Close to the Edge? Or maybe Roundabout... Haven't listened to much Yes in many years.

And by the way, if you're looking into more Prog, I might suggest if you don't know the band well already looking into King Crimson -- maybe go with the rockin' Red as I think you might appreciate the riffs.

Hmmm, I'm stumped. Doesn't sound like any 70's Yes that I can recognize. Owner of a Lonely Heart maybe?

Anyhow, welcome aboard the forum! Thumbs Up
