Interesting that you sequentially bumped two polls with Angel's Egg in them and in neither case did you vote for the Gong. I think I voted for it in both of those polls, though oddly I don't seem to have commented in this one -- I probably made a bad joke and then deleted it out of embarrassment, or deleted a comment that I felt added nothing valuable to discussion (nothing I ever say does, but sometimes I am more acutely aware of it), as I hardly ever vote without commentary. Anyway, I like Angel's Egg, Mekanik Destruktiw Kommandoh, Io sono nato libero and Solar Fire considerably.

You got good writing skills so this makes it easy. I still feel a sense of insecurity in my writing, not because English is not my first language, but because only a couple of teachers encouraged me to express myself when I was in school which sucked. Therefore my insecurity still remains to this day.
I'll try to comment a bit in my future on my poll choices. :)

An interesting list......had to go with Solar Fire....my favorite by them and an album and band that don't get mentioned enough.

What a great list! I understand how it is splitting the vote amongst posters. Traditional I know, but I have to take ELP over Yes. Both albums have their imperfections which means they do rate slightly lower than other output from the two bands - but Karn Evil 9 - especially First Impression (Parts 1 and 2) is my idea of near prog perfection.

Banco followed respectively by Magma, Yes and Gong. The others are quite good too.
